In late 2010 , the Singapore American Embassy  invited Elim Chew , founder of 77th Street and I to attend the inaugural Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)  Women Entrepreneur Summit  , founded by  U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton .

Nanz Inc Celebrates International Women’s Day at OverEasy

Today was a really good day for Nanz and I. We had been hurtling through Jan and Feb like two rockets when suddenly two weeks ago, Nanz said “Hey. What are we doing for International Women’s Day?”

This week is Global Entrepreneurship Week and I kicked it off last Sunday 22 November at Causeway Point. I was invited by Tan Huan Peow, Director of the Centre for Professional Development at Republic Polytechnic, to be Guest of Honour at Republic Polytechnic’s annual competition for secondary schools, where 15 schools competed this year in the “Push Cart Business Competition”.

Focus On Your Dreams, Not Your Regrets

We all have regrets, at least a few. Nanz shares candidly about the things she wishes she did, the ones she wishes she didn’t, and why we must focus on our dreams instead of looking back. I have had many dreams and my fair share of regrets. When I was a little girl, my greatest wish was to be an astronaut and I would fantasise about my walk on the moon.
